History

Achille Grassi Company was born in 1870, when Achille Grassi, assisted by his brothers Luciano, Silvio and Vittorio, founded a small business in Nanto dedicated to work hard with stone and marble of Vicenza.

The originality, passion for art and the aesthetic quality of its products let the company establish itself soon as a national reality of undisputed professionalism and excellence.

In 1958 the company was passed on to his son Dino, also an art lover. He decided the success of a century pursue consolidated

It is from that time that the company strengthens its presence in Italy and begins its expansion process in the European markets (Germany, Austria, Belgium and the Netherlands); a process that, in 1975, started and is still used.

Between the years 80 and 90 Achille Grassi invests in human resources and production to expand in international markets (especially in the Arab countries and the United States). This strategy leads to need additional covered space for storage of products and for it´s processing. For this reason we bought in 1990 a warehouse of 1,200 square meters.

Since 1999, the company is located in Castegnero (15 km from Vicenza) in a new facility of over 10,000 square meters in which, thanks to the presence of a showroom of 3.000 square meters open to the public, you can see much of the production directly.

Since 1999, we are in the new structure, in Via del Progresso 16, Castegnero Bridge, an imposing property with an exhibition area of over 3.000 square meters and three exhibition halls with various articles.

We would be delighted to welcome you and to make you enjoy the wonders that nature has to offer, work thanks to the skill of our stonemasons.
